Floteks, a pioneer in rotational molding, product design and development, engineering analysis, plays an important role in ISOPREP.
Görkem is ISOPREP’s lead engineer who works for Floteks. His core responsibility is to realize the pilot plant as efficient and as financially feasible as possible. He leads the design activities by translating theoretical studies into practical knowledge to create technical drawings, process design, equipment, and technologies by engaging numerous suppliers.
Görkem is a Chemical Engineer (B.Sc. Middle East Technical University / Turkey, M.Sc. KU Leuven / Belgium), with 4+ years of industrial experience. His expertise is focused on separation technology and utility systems, plant and equipment design, process development and continuous improvement. Prior to joining Floteks, he started his career in Cargill as a Technical Management Trainee, then as a Manufacturing Technology Engineer. He also served as the Energy Manager of the plant, where he led various multi-million projects to reduce energy and production costs; and as a Process Engineer in MEFSCO and KSA, where he led the start-up activities in the corn syrup refinery.
