The TWI-led ISOPREP Project has been highlighted in an article in the Engineering Designer journal.
TWI is leading a consortium of 10 partner companies to deliver an innovative approach for recycling end-of-life, complex multilateral products, such as waste carpet. By combining chemical and mechanical recycling techniques, the project can obtain virgin-like polypropylene in a cost-effective manner.
The Engineering Designer journal article includes information from TWI’s ISOPREP Project coordinator, senior project leader, George Theodosopoulos, who explains the challenges faced by the consortium.
The ISOPREP project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 820787
